Currently, it is possible to create a user role that hides various elements of the Relationship Profile. However, it is impossible to hide the Timeline, which means that the end user still has access to information that has been hidden. For example, you can hide the Activities section of the profile, but activities will still be displayed on the timeline, giving the user the ability to click on them and see details. Essentially, not being able to hide the timeline makes hiding anything else useless.

Other ways to address this would be to add functionality that enables us to choose which categories are displayed on the timeline or adding logic that prevents categories that are hidden on the profile from displaying information on the timeline, e.g. if the activities section is hidden, the timeline does not display activities.
